Meet Carrie
Welcome!
I’m Carrie Macioce, founder and principal designer of Hill House Design. With nearly a decade of experience in residential design, I create homes that are timeless, elegant, and layered with intention. The results are spaces where classic European influences meet modern balance and refined functionality.
I believe a home should be beautiful, purposeful, and meaningful, reflecting both timeless style while telling the unique story of the people who live in it. Since launching Hill House Design in 2022, my focus has been on guiding clients through a seamless design process that inspires confidence, engagement, and excitement at every stage.
At Hill House Design, each project is approached with intention and attention to detail. With a background in product design and branding, I bring a thoughtful, strategic perspective to every project, ensuring each decision is considered and aligned with the overall vision. The result is a home that feels both livable and refined.
I live in the Baltimore Metro area with my husband and three young children. I bring the same passion, energy, and commitment to every client project that I bring to my own home.

Approach & Philosophy
Home is an ever-evolving reflection of life that is shaped by the experiences we have, the objects we cherish, and the memories we create. This belief forms the foundation of our design philosophy at Hill House Design.
Our clients arrive with stories, inspirations, and meaningful pieces collected over a lifetime, and these elements guide the direction of each space we create. Throughout the design process, we thoughtfully edit, refine, and curate; layering in what’s missing while honoring what already exists.
With a discerning eye we transform these components into interiors that feel cohesive, elevated, and deeply personal. We believe design is never static and as our lives evolve, so do the spaces that support them.
At Hill House Design, our goal is to create timeless, beautifully considered backdrops and allow our clients to live fully, gather often, and create meaningful memories for years to come.
